Tylney Hall Wedding Photography

I always look at my Tylney Hall Wedding photography with pride as its always such a beautiful affair. Tylney Hall is one of those wedding venues that is absolutely stunning and one I really enjoy photographing. What sets it apart from other venues is the way it portrays two separate yet entirely convincing personas. The exterior and Interior is pure English manor house yet somehow they have very sympathetically managed to add modern hotel features such as an indoor swimming pool.

The grounds at Tylney Hall are among the very best I’ve come across and are landscaped on several levels. The grounds contain a number of features that simply scream out to be used as backdrops, including a lake, woodland area and open fields.

I particularly enjoy the sunken Italian garden and this deserves a special mention. The lawn is beautifully manicured and all flower beds very well maintained. The garden is contained within rustic brick walls that make a wonderful backdrop for your wedding photography. I particularly like the area leading out to the rest of the grounds which comprises of a set of wide stone steps that is just perfect for photographs. At the rear the garden is separated from the rest of the grounds by a feature hedgerow which also makes for another impressive backdrop. The garden also contains a water fountain feature.

If your wedding is smaller you may be placed to use the water gardens instead, again these are very beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities here for your wedding photography here.

Photographically Tylney Hall hotel is breath-taking. From my own point of view the challenge is not to find beautiful backdrops and areas in which to work because you simply can’t move for them, it’s in not getting carried away and keeping everybody for photographs for too long. It seems such a shame to not have time to use ALL of the grounds!

The interior of Tylney Hall is full of character and English charm. The Chestnut Suite does usually require flash as it can be a little dark but this is not something that cant be worked around. In fact it does lend itself well to additional mood lighting and I’ve seen that done very well several times here. The Chestnut Suite was also refurbished in late 2014 and is looking particularly stunning at the moment.

A review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the Tylney Hall Wedding Staff. From the management team to the waiting staff every one the staff is polite and helpful and having gotten to know a number of the years, genuinely nice people.

In summary if you have the budget and are looking for a typically ‘English’ venue then I would have no hesitation in recommending Tylney hall. It’s quite simply one of the most classy, elegant, beautiful and charming wedding venue available and as a wedding photographer Tylney Hall is a dream to photograph.
