Tylney Hall Spring Showcase 2015
With the sun shining the gardens bursting into life I attended the Tylney Hall Spring Showcase 2015 yesterday.
It’s always a pleasure attending this event, apart from the chance to meet new prospective clients and chat with those who have already booked with me there is a great bunch of suppliers there I know from earlier weddings. It’s great to catch up, swap ideas and stories about the industry and of course, munch on Tina and Cliff’s cakes from Cookie Creations who always have plenty of samples to give away. If you have not tried Tina’s cupcakes you haven’t lived! Tina and Cliff quite often present with a little box of cupcakes at the end of the day if they have any leftovers to take home to the family. With two small children mealtimes are always such a noisy affair, I love how after bringing Tina’s cupcakes out silence prevails for a few minutes while everybody just tucks in and savours the favour. Even the kids who usually wolf their food down take their time over these, they are definitely cakes to take your time over and appreciate!
Moutan as always made the rooms look incredible with their flowers and decorations. I have done a few weddings now that Moutan have decorated, they always look good and are setup in plenty of time for me to be able to photograph the completed rooms before the service or wedding breakfast start to capture them freshly decorated and unspoilt before everybody sits down to eat.
It was a fairly quiet day this time around, a lot of guests didn’t want to stop or chat but I had a couple of good conversations with prospective clients and it’s always quality over quantity when it comes to new leads.
The Hampshire suite, the smaller of the two suites at Tylney Hall was setup beautifully today and really helped to show just how fantastic this suite is for a smaller wedding. With separate bar areas, ceremony room and the Lionel Phillips Suite for the wedding breakfast and its own little garden it is completely self-contained yet offers the chance to get out and explore the wider grounds at Tylney for your wedding photography. What more could a small wedding need?
I took a few photographs to show off the two different rooms shown below.
